If this lineup of adorable cats and dogs available for adoption this week isn’t enough, there’s also an upcoming adoption event and a sale that benefits homeless animals coming soon.

albie6
Albie

Available for adoption at the Little Shelter in Huntington:

Albie is a super sweet 9-year -old Pit mix who is looking for a family to love. This big boy is a mush for affection and loves to greet people. He also is a food hound who is always seeking out treats from staff and volunteers!

When Albie was first rescued, he was too weak to stand up and now after months of recuperating this boy is on the go. When not snuggled up in warm blankets taking naps, Albie enjoys going on walks and meeting new friends.

dingo4
Dingo

Dingo is a large white and tabby cat with an unusual face that makes him look like he’s squinting. He is a very affectionate boy who loves getting chin scratches and will follow his favorite staff members around. This guy is a gentle giant who is just looking for someone to love him and spoil him the way he deserves. midnightMidnight is a sweet 6-month-old long-hair kitten. She is active and loves playing with catnip mice. She is a stunning girl with a sweet personality who loves getting affection and being held. Midnight would do great as a spoiled solo cat or in a multi cat household where she would have someone to play with. SebastianSebastian is a gentle giant who prefers to curl up in your lap rather than be in the center of the action. He is a large kitty who is great at snuggling and would be the perfect companion to watch movies with. Sebastian would do best in a calm household.

For more information on adopting Albie, Dingo, Midnight and Sebastian, call the Little Shelter at 631-368-8770, or visit 33 Warner Rd. in Huntington. bobAvailable for Adoption with Last Hope Animal Rescue:

In the market for an awesome Beagle? What about Bob? He is an amazing laid-back Beagle who arrived at Last Hope from an over-crowded Kentucky shelter.

At about 8 years old, Bob is outgoing and friendly with other dogs, but not all that interested in playing with them. Bob would thrive in a home with calm kids and other calm dogs like him.

For more information about adopting Bob, contact Last Hope Animal Rescue at 3300 Beltagh Ave. in Wantagh or call 631-425-1884.

harmony e1524148078337
Harmony

Available for adoption at The Town of Oyster Bay Animal Shelter:

Who doesn’t need a little Harmony in their life? Harmony (reference #180106) is an 8-year-old gal who was surrendered to the shelter because her owner was moving. She is a petite girl that weighs 6 pounds.

Harmony is very mellow and loves to be held. She is missing the surroundings that made her feel loved and comfortable. It is so hard for these cats to be uprooted and then left behind to get used to a shelter environment as opposed to a safe and comfortable home. Harmony would be a great companion and a happy addition to any home.

For more information about adopting Harmony, call the Town of Oyster Bay Animal Shelter at 516-677-5784.
