Open House at Garden City Pool

Didn’t join the Garden City Pool this year? Here is your chance to get a sample and see what you missed this summer. The pool will be open on Sunday, Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for all Garden City residents who are not current members. Non-member residents of Garden City must present proof of residency and pay the guest fee of $9 for adults; and $7 for seniors and anyone under 13 years of age. In addition to the use of the facility and access to the ice cream stand, as well as snack bar, the popular movie, The Goonies will be shown at 8 p.m. in the picnic area for all our members, guests and non-resident member guests for no additional fee. The recreation staff will be on hand in the afternoon with handouts and information about our upcoming events and all activities that the Garden City Recreation Department will be offering this fall. Don’t miss this great day at the Garden City Pool and don’t forget us next year.
