With the NFL season over and many fans waiting for the Major League Baseball season to start, many sports fans will be looking for something to watch while they wait for March Madness and spring training.
But if you like cars and the ever exciting pit stops, the Bud Shootout is tonight.
The Bud Shootout 2011 will be the unofficial kick off to the Nascar season. It isn’t the Daytona 500, but Nascar aficionados will be glued to the set tonight to listen to the sound of tires streaking around the track.
All 12 Chase for the Cup competitors will be racing as they prepare for Nascar’s Super Bowl, the Daytona 500.
Fan favorite Dale Earnhardt Jr. will start at the stop spot, with Tony Stewart at the front line alongside him. Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin and Kasey Kahne, rounding out the three spots behind Earnhardt Jr. and Stewart.
