Singer Sean Kingston is in a Florida hospital after suffering injuries from a jet skiing accident, according to multiple reports.
According to local10.com, Kingston was rushed to the hospital after he crashed into a bridge around 6 p.m. on Sunday.
According to TMZ, a female passenger was on the Jet Ski with Kingston at the time of the accident. City of Miami Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene and rushed Kingston to the hospital.
TMZ is reporting that Kingston’s injuries are so severe that he is being treated in the trauma ward. A representative of Kingston told TMZ that “Sean Kingston was in an accident today. No further details are available at the moment. He and his family thank everyone for the well-wishes.”
The accident occurred at the bridge that connects Palm Island to MacArthur Causeway, according to local10.com.
Friends of the “Beautiful Girls” singer have already started tweeting out well wishes. Rapper Nicki Minaj tweeted “My love & prayers are with Sean Kingston & his family.
Chris Brown wrote: “Praying for my bro Sean Kingston.”
And Rihanna said, “Sean we praying for u baby.”
Twitter users from all over the world are also using the social network site to send out their best wishes with “prayforseankingston” trending Monday morning.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Kingston’s self titled album features three hit songs in “Beautiful Gril,” “Take You There,” and “Me Love.”
“Beautiful Girl” topped the Billboard charts back in August 2007.
