Again we had near perfect weather for golf on June 2. It got a little humid as we played but it was a great day. A total of 38 men played and we had 36 pars and two birdies. They both came on the par 3, 173 yards, 2nd hole. The expert golfers were Sevald Knudsen and Bob Ross. Ray Onorato got five pars in his round. Nine men shot under par and three more shot even par for the round. The next tournament on July 7 will be the first round in our match play tournament. As soon as you get to the park, find out who you will be playing against and sign in together. You must play in the same foursome as your opponent.

The next tournament will be on Thursday, July 7. We sign in at 7 a.m., please be on time.
Competition on the nine-hole course is divided into two divisions. Flight A is for players with a handicap of 13 or less. Flight B is for players with a handicap of 14 or more. The league is a 100 percent handicap league. Any man who is 55 years of age is eligible.
