Native Long Islander Visiting July 1
Meet native New York author Steve Piacente on Friday, July 1 as he appears at the Hicksville Public Library from 3 to 4 p.m. to do a reading from his compelling novel, Bella. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Bella is a suspenseful thriller that tells the story of a striking widow intent on proving the military lied about her husband’s death with the help of a Washington journalist. Together, they discover the power of temptation, the futility of revenge, and the consequences of yielding to either. For more information on Bella, or to see the movie-style trailer, visit www.getbella.com.
