Hurricanes Participate in Memorial Day Tournament

The 8-year-old Hicksville Hurricanes played in their first tournament together over Memorial Day weekend. They headed out to Connetquot to compete with some of the best 8-year-old teams in the area. The competition came from Queens, Nassau and Suffolk. After losing the first two games to the L.I. Sharks from Suffolk and the HBQVC Orioles from Queens, they regrouped and came out strong in the third game winning 14-4 over the L.I. Inferno. All the boys and coaches want to thank the great Hicksville Baseball Association for all the support they have given them.
