Brooke Mueller, ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, was caught by TMZ cameras on Friday with what appeared to be a home-made crack pipe.
According to the entertainment news website, Mueller told friends that the pipe was not for crack, but for marijuana. The 33-year-old’s friends also claim that “every few months she falls off the wagon and uses cocaine-not crack” but saying that she hasn’t used drugs in months.
Mueller claimed she has a prescription for medical marijuana to help her deal with anxiety. Despite having primary custody of her two twin boys with Sheen, Max and Bob, 2, Mueller said that the involvement of the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services was not needed.
In June TMZ photographers captured photos of Mueller conversing with strangers in cars and walking around with a handful of cash. Mueller was reportedly vacationing in Hawaii with her two sons at the time.
Mueller and Sheen came to term on a custody agreement Tuesday which allowed the pair to both not have to undergo drug testing. TMZ reported that the judge in the custody battle has not yet determined if the pair are fit parents and said that child protective services have yet to visit either of their homes in the past six months.
Mueller recently starred in one of socialite Paris Hilton’s reality show, “The World According to Paris” in which she cried to Hilton’s mother, Kathy about needing help with her drug addictions. According to the Daily Mail Mueller told Hilton, “I’m having really bad cravings, really bad urges. I feel embarrassed. I feel like I’m going to do something stupid. I think I need to go back to rehab.”
