The ‘Three Stooges’ are back in action.
The trailer for the new movie was just release this week and shows the three famous funny guys, Moe, Larry and Curly, being delivered as babies, to a convent.
The trailer shows an updated version of the once funny comic trio, the three Farrelly brothers. This time around, Sean Hayes plays Larry, Will Sasso player Curly, and Chris Diamantopoulos plays Moe.
Interestingly, the original plan, according to deadline.com, was to cast Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro and Jim Carrey.
Telling by the trailer, there’s a whole lot of eye pokes, lobster bites, and hammers to the head. But that was expected.
What’s unexpected is the slew of A-list celebrities making cameos in the film.
For one, Jennifer Hudson, does a little more than a cameo. She takes on the role of Sister Rosemary. The singer plays Sister Rosemary, a nun at the orphanage where the boys grow up. She stars alongside Jane Lynch who plays Mother Superior and Sister Mary Mengele, Larry David.
The whole cast of ‘Jersey Shore’ even gets in on the action. In on scene in the trailer, we see Snooki receiving a present, an eye poke.
Sophia Vergara also makes an appearance, as well as NBA player, Dwight Howard.
‘Three Stooges’ hits theaters April 13.
