Dress Barn is aiming to gather 60,000 clothing donations to assist women re-entering the workforce during its March 1-4 SOS Send One Suit Weekend.
The company believes that thousands of women may be unable to secure employment because they simply don’t have appropriate business attire to wear to a job interview. The S.O.S. – Send One Suit – Weekend® underscores the retailer’s focus on the needs of the working woman and exemplifies its corporate commitment to philanthropic efforts dedicated to brightening the lives of women everywhere.
Dress Barn, through its partnership with Dress for Success, will collect everything from blazers to blouses at all of its 825 stores to assist women job-seekers nationwide. dressbarn stores will also reward shoppers with a 15 percent discount off their entire purchase when they drop off new or gently used professional attire during the retailer’s 10th annual S.O.S. – Send One Suit – Weekend® donation drive, March 1-4.
