Anna Paquin and Steven Moyer, on and off-screen “True Blood” lovers are expecting their first child!
That’s right, Sookie and Bill are going to be bringing another being into our world. Okay, we know the characters aren’t the ones who are expecting but it’s still pretty exciting. Who’s to say that “True Blood” writers won’t decide to delight us with a fairy-vampire baby to explain Anna Paquin’s inevitable baby bump? Now that would make for a thrilling story line.
While this is 29-year-old Paquin’s first pregnancy, papa Moyer has two children from a previous relationship.
The duo met on the first season of the HBO vamp-drama series, “True Blood, where their character’s Sookie and vampire Bill started off the series with a passionate romance. Their passion wasn’t just an act for the cameras and the two were married in 2010 in Malibu, California.
The actors will be rekindling their on-screen Romance for the fifth season of “True Blood” on June 10.
Details souring the newest season of the Alan Ball-created drama “True Blood” are always kept highly secretive until the premiere of each episode, but Moyer did divulge some news to MTV. He would like for his vampire character, Bill Compton, took hook up with fellow vamp Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård).
“My missus got to have a go with him last year, so I think it’s my turn,”Moyer said with a smile. “I know [Alex] is very excited about that.”
But Moyer is not the only one who would like to see some male vamp on vamp action, Skarsgård also seemed excited when MTV News asked him about having a possible on-screen “bromance” with Moyer.
“That’s been fun. Stephen is awesome. I love working with him,” Skarsgård said of Moyer. “It’s an interesting dynamic between those two guys, those two characters. I could see that. I don’t know. I haven’t read — they’re breaking season five now, so I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m sure there’s going to be some nice Bill and Eric moments.”
