Obituary: Reine T. Kidder

Reine T. Kidder, of Oyster Bay Cove, died peacefully at home on April 11, 2012. She was born in New Rochelle on June 22, 1918. She attended Barnard College and was married for more than 60 years to Henry M. Kidder Jr. who also died at home in Oyster Bay Cove in 1998. For 20 years she taught English at Syosset High School. She is survived by her sisters, Alice Attride and Kate Demers; also by four great-grandchildren, three grandchildren, and her three sons, Henry, Tracy, and Tim Kidder. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church in Oyster Bay at noon on May 5. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Partners In Health, 888 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA 02215.
