The Town of North Hempstead beach, formerly known as Hempstead Harbor Beach, was packed on April 21 as participants geared up to “Row for Autism.”
This was a unique fundraiser led by Steve Panzik, with the aid of Town of North Hempstead Director of Clark Gardens John Darcy. One of the largest teams in the event was one of the teams from Port Washington. The event raised a considerable amount of money to help combat autism.
