Garden City Teachers’ Association’s Third Annual GC Race For Cure

The Garden City Teachers’ Association (GCTA) held its third annual “GC Race for a Cure” on April 21, to benefit Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Over the past two years, The GCTA has raised $37,000 for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. In addition, Uniting Against Lung Cancer, through their Kites For A Cure initiative at GC For A Cure, has raised both awareness and important funds to support their innovative research into the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
