Summer too hot for you? Well, keep it cool at any of the great concert venues that Long Island has to offer.
As summer approaches and the weather becomes warmer, this naturally sparks our interest in attending more concerts, especially those that are outdoors.
Here at Top Ten Tuesday we thought we would lend a hand and help you discover great concert venues that you could visit this summer in order to get a taste of some great music.
Some of these venues have really interesting histories. Many of them were transformed from movie theaters, and even porno houses, to become the thriving musical venues that they are today.
These venues have seen great artists including The Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Phish, Judy Garland, Paul McCartney, The Talking Heads, The Police, The Supremes, The Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd and almost Elvis Presley (he died before he could do the show).
