Teachers “Stand Up” For The Cause

Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District’s John F. Kennedy High School students and staff members recently wore purple to show their support for the LGBT community as part of the National Gay-Straight Alliance “Coming Out Day.” The day-long event celebrated individuals of bisexual, gay, lesbian or transgender sexual orientation and embraced individuality equality in the school community.
