The student production of The Iliad, The Odyssey and All of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less starts at 7 p.m. at the high school.

Singles Social and Ballroom Dancing

All are welcome to learn social and ballroom dancing. There will be a lesson, followed by free dance. Lunch, coffee, cake provided. Cost is $14 and $7 for first timers. From 12:30 to 3 p.m. at Kismet Shriners, located at 18 W. Nicholai St. in Hicksville. For more information call 718-332-7825.

The Acchords Concert

Joseph Barry Knights of Columbus presents The Acchords live in concert. The band will be performing hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Casual attire. There will be an open bar, dinner and dessert. Cost is $35 per person. Checks can be made payable to Edward J. Kenny Club. Reservations are required and no money will be accepted at the door. At 45 Heitz Place, Hicksville. Science Fair

The Hicksville Gregory Museum will hold their annual science fair at the Social Hall of St. Stephen’s Church. The event is open to any student in Hicksville and surrounding communities in grades 1 through 12.  Deadline for entry form submissions is April 23. Singles Luncheon

Bus Trip to Sands Casino

St. Ignatius Loyola Church will be hosting a bus trip to Sands Casino in Pennsylvania. The bus leaves at 9 a.m. from Cantiague Park. Meet near the miniature golf course at 8:30 a.m., will return at approximately 8:30 p.m. Cost is $42 per person. Give back is $30 for slot play and $5 food voucher. Senior Citizen Luncheon

Hicksville Public Schools will host the 22nd annual Spring Senior Citizen Luncheon at Hicksville High School. The festivities will begin at 2 p.m. with an opening reception before a luncheon with a choice of three entrees: chicken cordon bleu, stuffed shells or Swedish meatballs. Tickets are available for Hicksville senior citizen residents at $4 each from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hicksville Administration Building at 200 Division Avenue.

Vendors Night

The Hicksville Middle School PTSA is holding a vendors night at 6 p.m. in the Middle School large gym. There will be several vendors, a raffle basket and 50/50. Admission is $5 per person for those 14 and up. Each admission comes with three raffle tickets.

Car Wash For Cancer

Holy Family CYO will host its seventh annual Car Wash for Cancer from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Holy Family School, 17 Fordham Ave. in Hicksville. Proceeds will be donated to the family of Dale, a local 13-year-old boy battling cancer. Dale has undergone 28 cycles of chemotherapy and surgery to remove four ribs. The results have been positive, but the family has been faced with many medical bills. For those who cannot attend the car wash, donations are also being accepted. Checks can be made payable to the Lexiebean Foundation and mailed to Ed Hebron 2 Mitchell Ct. Hicksville, NY 11801. Anniversary Dinner and Social
