Dancing dub-step violinist Lindsey Stirling comes to the Space at Westbury. Stirling combines Celtic folk music and modern classical with dance and electronica for a one-of-a-kind show. Happy Together Tour 2014
The Happy Together Tour 2014 comes to the NYCB Theatre at Westbury. Features The Turtles, Flo & Eddie, Chuck Negron, Mark Farner Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels, and Gary Lewis and the Playboys. Kosher BBQ Championship
The Long Island Kosher BBQ championship returns to Temple Beth Torah at 243 Cantiague Rock Road in Westbury. There will be pickle and hot dog eating contests, live entertainment and a play zone for kids and more. Friday, June 20
Jay Black will perform at Eisenhower Park’s Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre in East Meadow at 7:30 p.m.
Black is known for his hits including “Only in America,” “Come a Little Bit Closer,” “Cara Mia,” “This Magic Moment,” and “Walkin’ in the Rain.” There is no formal seating at Lakeside Theatre, so concertgoers are urged to bring chairs. Dolphin Dance Party
Saturday, June 21
Celebrate dolphins with dancing, face painting and dolphin craft stations from noon to 3 p.m. at the Whaling Museum & Education Center, 279 Main St., Cold Spring Harbor. Attendees who dress up as their favorite sea creature will win a door prize. The activity is free with paid admission.

Yoga at the Gardens

Relax at the Old Westbury Gardens, 71 Old Westbury Road, by taking a yoga class at 11:15 a.m. Lorili Henry, professional kripalu instructor will lead students through a dynamic, yet gentle flow of postures and conscious breathing in a beautiful and relaxing setting. Hair’itage

The Nero Gaines will perform the play Hair’itage at Molloy College, 1000 Hempstead Ave., Rockville Centre, at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Hair’itage is about six ‘sistahs’ who share the journey of their hair and the many different ways it has impacted their lives. L.I. Children’s Choir
Saturday, June 21
The Long Island Children’s Choir will perform at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, 720 Northern Blvd., Brookville, at 7 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for $20.

Family Sundays
Sunday, June 22
Each Sunday, the Nassau County Museum of Art offers a 1 p.m., docent-led family walk-through of the exhibition and supervised art activities for the whole family beginning at 1:30 p.m. Special family guides of the main exhibition are available in the galleries. Family Sundays at the Museum are free with museum admission, reservations are not needed.
