Update – Independence Day Parade & Festival Postponed Due To Weather:
“With reports showing both Thursday and Friday wet and rainy days, we are changing the July 4th Fireworks Show to Saturday, July 5th,” the Village posted on its website. “All other events which are planned for July 4th are also now on Saturday, July 5, 2014. Specifically, dinner on the great lawn is now available on Saturday from 5:30 PM, with a live band and DJ. The fireworks display is now planned for Saturday at 9:15 PM. The Kids in the Park Parade & Festival will also be held on Saturday, July 5th, from 10:00 AM – 12 PM.”
From 10 a.m. to noon on July 4, the Village of East Hills will host their annual Fourth of July Parade and Festival. The event takes place at the Village Theatre Lawn. The theatre is at 209 Harbor Hill Rd. For more information, call 621-5600.
