Please join us in a celebration of St. Edward’s annual 2014 festival on Thursday, August 7 through Sunday, August 10, at the Syosset train station (north side of the tracks). Festival hours will be Thursday/Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
This spectacular four-day Festival is a wonderful family event that each year draws more than 1,000 visitors from around the Syosset area. Along with the exquisite food, rides, and games, there will be live music and traditional dancing. We will be offering raffle tickets with large prizes. The drawing will be Sunday evening. In addition, we will be selling 50/50 raffle tickets and each night we will be drawing the winning ticket.
Guests will dine on exceptional food from our vendors and we will have hot dogs and hamburgers the old-fashioned way… by the hard work of our vendors, members of the St. Edward’s parish, and the Knights of Columbus using loving care. Visitors will be also be able to satisfy their “sweet tooth” with ice cream, cotton candy, funnel cakes, cookies covered with powdered sugar, and other special pastries.
The Festival 5K to benefit the Sr. Jackie Memorial Fund will take place on August 9. Visit www.st-edwards.org for details and registration information.
