A Melville man was arrested for firing gunshots at the driver of a vehicle with whom he has a dispute on the Southern State Parkway on Tuesday, New York State police said.
Joe Nunez was charged with assault, attempted assault and criminal possession of weapon.
Police said the 25-year-old fired two shots into a vehicle driven by a Brooklyn man, who was struck once in the shoulder. The second bullet struck the driver’s side door.
The shooting was the result of a dispute between Nunez and the victim, police said.
Nunez will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Central Islip.
