This slice of Little Italy is going 43 years strong and is Long Island’s largest Italian feast. Strap on a bib as there is a ¼ mile-long lit food promenade to go with live music, more than 25 thrill rides and games of chance in the midway. Stay for the rides, watch the fireworks on Sunday Aug. 31, or cheer the participants in the Zeppole Eating Contest. Whatever you do, the admission is free, rides are Pay-one-price and proceeds benefit the many local charities of the Giuseppe A. Nigro Lodge #2234.
