American Legion Manhasset Post 304 held their first meeting of the year on Wednesday, Sept. 3. Vice Commander James Brooks turned thepodium over to five of the six high school students that Post 304 sponsored for the annual Boys State Program in Albany. The young men were Taylor Wilson,Johnathan Knox, Thomas Moschitta, Tyler Lew and William Delaney.
They related their experiences and impressions for the time they spent with hundreds of other participants from throughout NY State. James Messina was the sixth high schooler but could not attend the meeting, but will speak to the members at a future meeting. The boys are flanked by Post Commander Matt Falcone and Vice Commander James Brooks.
