A suspicious vehicle been reported driving in Westbury and Carle Place.
On Sunday, at approximately 5 p.m, a suspicious vehicle/occupant was driving up and down streets in the Westbury/Carle Place area.
The police were called and the plate was run. The occupant did not live in the area and was found to have a long criminal history of burglaries.
The vehicle was a black Ford Explorer that had two yellow sirens on the roof. The plate number is GRT4641.
The driver was White/Hispanic male approx. 40 years of age, approx. 6 feet tall and over 200 pounds.
Nassau County Police and the Village of Westbury Code Enforcement have been alerted to the vehicle and individual.
If you see this vehicle, the police and Village of Westbury advise you to call 911 immediately and not to approach the vehicle/occupant.
