Mairéad Nesbitt – The daughter of a fiddle-playing mother and multi-instrumentalist father, Nesbitt started out playing piano at the age of 4, later switching to fiddle when she was 6. The former All-Ireland fiddle champion has worked with Van Morrison, Sinead O’Connor and Emmylou Harris along with playing on the soundtracks to Riverdance, Lord of the Dance and Feet of Flames.
Mairéad Carlin – Celtic Woman’s newest member hails from Derry, in the north of Ireland. She graduated from Trinity College of Music in London and followed that up by getting signed to Decca Records, which released Carlin’s 2014 debut album, Songbook. Along the way she’s toured the UK and Ireland with legendary singer-songwriter Don McClean, sung for the president of Ireland and shared the stage with Snow Patrol and The Priests.
Méav Ni Mhaolchatha – Normally referred to by her first name only, Méav is one of the original soloists in Celtic Woman. A fluent Gaelic speaker, she is known for her expertise in classic and Irish traditional music and has studied singing, harp and piano from an early age. Having stepped away from the group to spend time with family and pursue her solo career, Méav is back in the fold while having performed with a number of other performers including Elvis Costello, Brian Kennedy and The Chieftains.
Susan McFadden– A Celtic Woman member since 2012, McFadden has an extensive musical theater background. In addition to playing Sandy in the West End production of Grease, she’s played lead roles in two other major revivals—Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Legally Blonde.
