The Chinese Music Ensemble of New York will be performing at the Jericho Library at 2 p.m. Don’t miss this program played on traditional instruments such as erhu, dizi, yangqin, pipa and ruan. The selections will include folk and chamber music of China. The ensemble, founded in 1961, is the oldest Chinese orchestra in the U.S. Their goal is promote Chinese music. Join the library for a delightful, enlightening and entertaining afternoon. Jericho cardholders may pick up tickets immediately. Non-residents may pick up tickets beginning March 13.
