A Night Of Delights

Local residents are invited to wine and dine March 12 at the first ever Night of Delights.

Attendees will be ample to sample the fare of over 20 restaurants at this event, which is a fundraiser for the Rushmore Avenue PTA.

“We usually do a Chinese Auction, but I thought this year let’s try something different,” said Hope Alfieri, who helped organize the event.

The event will take place at the Carle Place Firehouse, and will include raffles, a 50/50, photobooth and martini bar, among other amusements. But the main attraction will be the local dining establishments who will have their signature fares for guests to sample.

So far the restaurants include The Hollow Creamery, The Butcher Place, Nick’s Tuscan Grill, Greek Town Grill, California Pizza Kitchen, Marco Polo of the Viana, Noodles and Company, Sporting News Grill, Chocolate Works, Rialto, Spuntino, Lisbon Café, La Botegga, Eleanor Rigby’s, Vincent’s Clam Bar, The Corner Bakery, Joe’s Crab Shack, Panera Bread, NY Ravioli and Red Mango. Stew Leonard’s will be doing a wine tasting and Manning’s Pub and Grill will also have a martini bar.

“This will get [these businesses] out there and people can have a taste of what’s around the town. And hopefully they’ll go visit,” said Alfieri.

The festivities take place Thursday, March 12 at the Carle Place Fire Department, 460 Broadway from 6 to 10 p.m. Admission is $25. For more information contact Hope Alfieri at hope91@optonline.net
