A 38-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash in North Lindenhurst on Saturday evening.
Suffolk County police said a woman was driving a Mitsubishi SUV eastbound on 45th Street when Christopher Sliwoski of Lindenhurst, who was riding his motocycle northbound on Straight Path, struck the Mitsubishi at the intersection of the two roads at 7:15 p.m.
Sliwoski, who was ejected from the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver, 44-year-old Meenawatti Ciccone of Amityville, was not injured and remained at the scene.
First Squad detectives have impounded the vehicles, are continuing the investigation and are asking anyone with information about the crash to call them at 631-854-8652.
