Police are investigating an assault that occurred Sunday, May 10 at 4:30 a.m. in Carle Place.
According to detectives, Third Precinct officers received a call for a pedestrian struck at the intersection of Old Country Road and Glen Cove Road. Upon arrival officers determined that the 25 year old male victim was assaulted by unknown subject(s) and received non-life threatening stab wounds in the leg, chest and back. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
