Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth visited the Carle Place Seniors at Charles J. Fuschillo Park on June 9 to award John Heslin the town’s Community Champion award.
Heslin, who is the president of the Carle Place Seniors, is also a board member of the Carle Place Chamber of Commerce. The Community Champion award is presented to North Hempstead residents who go above and beyond to improve the quality of life for their fellow residents.
