Vincie Piazza Hink, 93, Ventura, CA, former, life-long Port Washington resident, passed away on June 19. Vincie was born in Port Washington and worked for Port Washington elementary school administration. Her parents Antonio and Vittoria Piazza immigrated from Italy and lived on Covert Street. Vincie loved Port Washington and had fond memories about purchasing a rowboat for $5 (with a leak) and rowing out ton Manhasset Bay. She graduated from Port Washington Schools and worked in NYC until she met her husband, Henry Hink from Maryland. They were married at St. Stephen’s Church and lived most of their 62 years of marriage in Port Washington, She was predeceased in death by her husband Henry and son Richard. She is survived by her daughter Mareen Turner.
