The 2015 Pride in Port “Taste of Port” dinner dance will once again support the Barbara Faticone Pride in Port Scholarship and the Pride in Port Community Service Awards. This annual event brings together friends and neighbors for a night celebrating our wonderful peninsula community.
The Pride in Port committee would like to congratulate Matthew Nicholson, the scholarship recipient from the June 2015 Paul D. Schreiber High School graduating class, along with the Community Service Award honorees: Rachel Brandes, Diandra Burton, Jack Fishman, Laura Russo, Gabrielle Sater and Mia Walker.
Tickets are still available for this year’s event on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 19, in the starlight ballroom of the Polish American Citizens Association’s Hall on Pulaski Place in Port Washington. For tickets ($30 in advance, $35 at the door), call 516-883-6566.
