Bright Lights and Big City Come to Port Washington

IMG_7936wit & whim, the philanthropic gift boutique, will toast the bright lights of the big city with a spectacular meet the artist event on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Enjoy sweets and treats as wit & whim showcases its latest collaboration featuring three talented artists and a cleverly curated selection of goods that will make you ‘Fall for New York.’

Just a short 25 miles away from the Big Apple, wit & whim celebrates its neighbor, New York City, with one-of-a-kind artwork from graffiti artist, Kevin Marcell, award-winning painter Mary Westring, and photographer Mark Lutin.

Creator, Laurie Scheinman, has searched near and far for the exclusive selection of home goods and accessories to compliment this metropolitan mixer.

Scheinman explains, “The city that never sleeps inspired my selections. Everyone will be able to take a bite out of the Big Apple and bring home a piece of New York with gifts ranging in price from $5 to $2500!”

wit & whim, the little shop with a big heart, donates one hundred percent of its profits to a different charity each month and will continue this special mission throughout their celebration. During the month long showcase, profits will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

If you have an empire state of mind or simply enjoy gifting & giving back, be sure to stop by. The ‘Fall for New York’ event is free and all are welcome to attend.
