Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Carle Place Joyce Leslie earlier this morning.
According to police, an African American male entered the Joyce Leslie store at 193 Glen Cove Rd. armed with a black handgun at around 10:10 a.m. He tied up two employees and two customers inside the store, and removed the victim’s personal property, property from a safe and an unknown amount of U.S. currency from the register. He fled on foot northbound through a parking lot toward Westbury Avenue. There were no injuries reported.
The subject is further described as being 5’8”-5’10” tall, thin build, wearing a black face mask, black hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
