A 19-year-old Queens woman died when she was hit by a vehicle in Elmont on Tuesday night.
Nassau County police said Amaya D. George was walking across Dutch Broadway when she was struck by a Lexus at 9:30 p.m.
The victim was taken to North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital, where she died.
Homicide Squad detectives are continuing the investigation but have deemed the crash to be non-criminal.
