Kellenberg Memorial High School and St. Aidan’s graduate quarterback Joe Grimm led the Firebirds (3-4) with 12 of 17 passes for 156 yards and 2 touchdown passes against Mount St. Michael in the Bronx recently.
Kieran Fitzgerald caught a 35-yard touchdown pass from Grimm, a Mineola PAL alum, to put Kellenberg up 19-7 in the second quarter.
Marco Mongelli caught a 26-yard pass from Grimm for a score and a 26-7 lead.
Andre Schiavone and Dillon Kirby, another St. Aidan’s alum, aided the strong defensive squad.
