The Village of Port Washington North recently held its open house at its new location just off Channel Drive. The open house was viewed by residents, local area mayors and Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel. During a short speech to mark the event, Mayor Bob Weitzner said, “this facility finally offers the amenities that the residents richly deserve.” He also thanked photographers Sabrina Heapps, Sherah Thomas and Tab Hauser for donating their work of local scenes that decorate the offices. This facility is 2,300 square feet and has a five-year lease with an option to renew. Port Washington North has 1,300 families and is governed by a mayor and four trustees.
