The Manhasset Congregational Church had their annual Pilgrim Thanksgiving Service which recreates a 17th century service similar to how the Pilgrim Separatists and Puritans worshipped.
Moriah Adamo and Eric Olesh, along with children Eve and Lila, portrayed the Pilgrim Family at The Pilgrim Thanksgiving Service. The children of the congregation enjoyed dressing up in period costumes and listened eagerly as they learned about America’s first settlers and their Thanksgiving feast in 1621. The children’s choir of Pilgrims and Native Americans sang songs of Thanksgiving.
