The Pink Lemonade Stands for Breast Cancer event was a huge success. “This was the 12th year and we had six stands throughout Port Washington, Manhattan and Brooklyn in the month of October and on Halloween,” said Debbie Levine, a host of one of the lemonade stands in Port Washington. “We raised $3,000 this year, making our total collected over $70,000. All monies benefit the Young Survival Coalition, a nonprofit dedicated to the needs of young women with breast cancer.”
