On Saturday, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. the choir of St. Stephen’s Church will present a performance of Handel’s Messiah. An 11-piece orchestra and soloists Maria Whisenand, soprano; Deborah Berruete Fuhrman, mezzo-soprano; David Reck, tenor; Daniel Klein, bass; and the St. Stephen’s Choir, will be conducted by St. Stephen’s Director of Music Mark van Schenkhof of Port Washington.
St. Stephen’s offers this musical performance every year as a gift to the community. The church extends a warm invitation to everyone to share the beautiful music of the Christmas season. Please arrive early to insure a seat. St. Stephen’s is located across the street from the library on Main Street.
