The Town Of North Hempstead will welcome local children and their families for the first ever public Christmas tree lighting outside the “Yes We Can” Community Center in New Cassel on Monday, Dec. 21 at 6:30 p.m.
The festivities will include free hot chocolate, candy canes, performances from the “Yes We Can” Community Band and Chorus and a special visit from Santa Claus, courtesy of the Westbury Fire Department.
