The McAngels, an auxiliary group for the Ronald McDonald house comprised of women from Carle Place and Westbury, recently gave back to families in need through their 11th annual “Adopt A Family” program. Led by organizers Kerri Delio and Tracie Marasco, the group was able to fulfill wish lists for seven families in need. The families the group helped this year have children battling cancer, a dad with an inoperable brain tumor and sudden losses of parents. The group received a tremendous outpouring of generosity and help from the local community.
“My heart is warm and my soul is fulfilled,” said Delio. “Thank you to everyone that helped out this year.”
