Two teenagers were arrested for allegedly throwing a brick and a cinder block off a bridge onto the Meadowbrook State Parkway in Uniondale last month, New York State police said.
Andrew Denton, 17, of East Meadow and 19-year-old Jacob Palant of Syosset were each charged with assault, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
Troopers said the duo threw the brick and the block from the overpass at Kellenberg High School, hitting a Jeep and a BMW, causing $3,000 in damage on Dec. 26. A passenger in the BMW was injured.
Bail for Palant was set at $50,000 cash or $25,000 bond. Bail for Denton was set at $250,000 cash or $500,000 bond. They are due back in Nassau County court on Tuesday.
