The Kornreich Early Learning Center recently celebrated the Hindu New Year, Diwali, the Festival of Lights. Students did rangoli, danced to Bollywood music and made lamps. The center, located at the Jackson Avenue School, was founded in 2007, and the program supports children in the Mineola School District.
