The Key Club at Schreiber High School recently held a special donation drive to raise funds to purchase toys for children less fortunate.
Under the direction of adviser Janine Kalinowski, Key Club members advertised for and collected donations from students, staff and faculty to purchase several large bags of toys that were donated to the Nassau County Department of Social Services. The Key Club also chipped in $200 for the purchase of the toys, did the shopping and bagged the toys, which were delivered just in time for Christmas.
