Students at Rushmore Avenue School and Cherry Lane School, both in the Carle Place School District, recently participated in the annual Valentines for Veterans program. Coordinated this year through Assemblyman Edward Ra’s office, classes throughout the schools spent time writing letters and creating cards to thank and honor veterans for Valentine’s Day.
