Fifth-grade students at Rushmore Avenue School in the Carle Place School District enjoyed a visit by NY State Assemblyman Edward Ra on Feb. 22. Assemblyman Ra and the students role played how a bill becomes a law in the state legislature, shared interesting facts about the Capitol Building in Albany and enjoyed a lively question and answer period about state budget and life of a NY State legislator.
