Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Councilmember Viviana Russell recently attended the Carle Place Civic Association’s Town of North Hempstead Night at Carle Place High School. Bosworth and Russell, joined by Deputy Buildings Commissioner Glenn Norjen, Grants Coordinator Tom Devaney and Town Director of Operations Robert Troiano, informed those in attendance about the state of North Hempstead as well as current and future town initiatives.
The Supervisor specifically touched upon the revamped Buildings Department, town finances, new community-led committees, and downtown revitalization, as well as specific initiatives for Carle Place including streetscaping on Westbury Avenue. Afterward, she answered questions from the audience.
