The Manhasset Art Association (MAA) is having a two-month summer exhibit at the Manhasset Public Library, from May 29 to July 28.
Approximately 50 works will be shown, including oils, watercolors, pastels, pencil, charcoal, photography, collage, mixed media and more. The reception will award Best in Show, Award of Excellence, Award of Merit, three Honorable Mentions and a special award for figure drawing.
Rick Perez will be judging the artwork. The reception and awards ceremony is Saturday, June 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served, and the public is invited.
The artwork is on also in the display case near the Community Room for a retrospective of 68 years of the Manhasset Art Association.
