Two eighth-graders from the Carle Place School District recently participated in the New York State Science Congress in Buffalo, New York. At the event, Francesca Venezia and Sarah Beattie were awarded an Honorable Mention for their work. Completed with the guidance of teacher Mrs. Ramsawak, the pair received a medal, certificate and a monetary prize from their participation in the LI Science Congress.
